Program objective: 

  • Assist and empower the athlete in reaching their potential through private coaching/mentoring sessions
  • Athletes will engage in 6 sessions (both face-to-face and online) and will include; 
    • Testing- to determine current levels of physical fitness 
    • SWOT analysis- leading to formalising and documenting their goals and objectives
    • Private coaching sessions- based on results and goals 
    • Analysis and review- areas for improvement and next steps 
  • Formalising and documenting goals is important as it allows us to break down large goals into smaller achievable ones. The reality is that 92% of people fail to reach their goals, which can lead to a lot of frustration and disappointment. So what do the 8% who are successful do differently? 
  • One thing most successful goal-setters do differently is they create SMARTER goals that set them up for success. SMARTER goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. Additionally they are Evaluated and Readjusted. 
  • This method helps push you further, provides a greater sense of direction and helps you organise and reach your goals. 
  • Of equal importance is undertaking a SWOT analysis in order to identify your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.

This product includes 6 initial sessions.

Session 1 @ Zoom session (30 minutes)
Overview: In this session you will be provided with your own Google Sheet which will be used to start documenting your SWOT and Goals & Objectives. The output of which will be your plan which we will work towards going forward. 

Session 2 @ Physical Testing (45 minutes)
Overview: In this session you will complete a variety of physical fitness tests to identify strengths and weaknesses. Your results will determine the structure/focus of your private sessions ensuring that they align with your set goals and objectives.

Session 3 @ Field session 1on1 (45 minutes)
Overview: Format of the field session is based on the athlete’s goals/objectives/results e.g. this could be fitness focused and/or technical touch skills.

Session 4 @ Field session 1on1 (45 minutes)
Overview: Format of the field session is based on the athlete’s goals and objectives, e.g. this could be fitness focused and/or technical touch skills.

Session 5 @ Field session 1on1 (45 minutes)
Overview: Format of the field session is based on the athlete’s goals and objectives, e.g. this could be fitness focused and/or technical touch skills.

Session 6 @ Zoom session (30 minutes)
Overview: In this session we will check-in and review how you are tracking against your Goals & Objectives. Feedback for all sessions will be provided. We will review what is working well and identify where changes are required.
